I LOVE GRANADA's VIEW
Tonight we went out with David whose from Australia and Camilla whose from Finland. WE met her in Malaga, she was our roommate there. I was so happy to have met her. She is SO FUNNY! She was dressed as if she was going to a club with super high heels. Camilla told mona that she doesn't like partying and mona responded that she's dressed as if she was going to one. We were meeting up to go eat paella at a place David was told was good. But david forgot the map where a man wrote it down at. From there on I knew this night was going to be HILARIOUS! It WAS! I think I almost peed my pants because I was laughing so hard! We found a place that was giving four for only 9.50 but two main courses and dessert. The Sangria and drinks weren't very good or the food. Maybe thats why? But the service was great! We then walked to the sweetest view in all of Granada- to St. Nicholas Plaza where you could see the Alhambre right in front of you and the whole view of Granda (look at the picture above). There is always people singing, dancing, having drinks on this hill. They sell the best ice cream also. : ) Well it took us forever to walk up because cars kept passing by the tiniest streets evers and Camilla was a slow walker with her massive heals.
I love Sevillana music and flamenco dancing. THis view is worth so many millions because its just the best hang out place ever, and its in front of a church which can be good or bad (noise wise).
Walking tour in Granada 5.23.13 and new australian friends
SO this morning I was supposed to wake up at 5am to leave the hostel at 6am with a new friend whose from a place near India who wanted to go stand in line to get tickets for the Alhambre but I was so tired last night that I just stayed in bed until 845am. THen me and Mona went for the free walking tour where our tour guide and everyone else were a bit late. IT began at 11am. It was over a little after 1pm. There we met these two australians. The girl is named Geneve and the guy is called David. David is an artist-painter. He is just stopping in SPain until the 29th because then he goes to work in an exchange painting program in Berlin, Germany. Geneve didnt know him and met him here on our tour also. She is on a 6 month backpacking journey. She didnt know what to study in university so she just left and began traveling. Her journey ends in August.
Granada is named after the fruit.
Side of the Alhambre.
We were able to enter some parts for free.
